    Picky Eaters???
So I am on vacation and my girl friend is baby sitting... so we set up video chat so i can instruct the feeding... fast forward...

Why is it that Snakes in captivity are so picky when in the wild they will eat whatever is available... Not sure if its just BP's or snakews in general i only have 3 bps.

I don't think they get the chance to eat as much in the wild then in captivity.

LOL! Mad funny idea; it may be a variety of different factors. Any stress the snake endures could cause it to decide not to eat.

Is it frozen? Maybe she didn't thaw it out and it was still cold...? The first time I fed my snake I picked up the mouse by it's tail (f/t) and wiggled it in front of my snakes head. The past three times I have fed it, I have used this method.

most bps in the wild might get 10 to 20 meals a year if that many mabye some get more we tend to feed weekly or every other week they tend to be less hungry, I think that can be part of it. Then there is the whole captivity thing which can add to it too to much stress can put them off eating just take your time it will work out.
