    High humidity tub
I've set up my new tub last night. I have to uth's and the temps are great but the humidity is very high. The accurite reads "HI", which i believe is over 90. I have been putting more and more holes in with no drop in humidity. Is there anything besides putting more holes that will drop the humidity? Also im using aspen I don't know if that will affect the humidity that much though.

Is it still rainy in NJ?
Also, it may take a couple days for the humidity to stabilize. Is the bp already in there?

Yeah, we finally got a break too.
But I would give it a couple days and it should go down before plopping her in.

A few things that also can affect humidity. Water bowl size....too big of a bowl will have more surface area and create more evaporation.
Air flow near the tub? If theres little air movement then will take more time to evaporate. Also wheres the water bowl placed? If it is placed on a warm end it will definately evaporate more water.

Not much you can do if the room the tub is in is Humid. Get that under control then the tub should follow.

You will have to put more holes in it.

I put more holes in my tub last night as well. I came downstairs and the whole cool side was drenched in condensation. I took Leviticus out immediately and cleaned everything, I also changed his water bowl as it appeared to be the humidity problem. I put everything back and hopefully his cage is up to par.
