Re: Ball Python Feeding
Not all yearlings and adults are the same size - so it depends on the animal.
I start my hatchlings on hopper mice or rat fuzzies. As they gain size, I increase their prey size. I have two spiders that are siblings. One is on medium mice, the other is on 4 week old rat pups (probably 2x the size of the mouse).
I don't feed larger than single small medium rats once a week to any of my adults, including my 3000+ gram females.

Re: Ball Python Feeding
I prefer Petco over Petsmart because our Petsmart ONLY carries one size and they are teeny tiny (definately wouldn't satisfy my adult male bp). Even better, I learned from this site, is too find a small local place!

Re: Ball Python Feeding
In my area, there is a Petsmart, Petco, and three local pet shops. I choose to go to one pet store that I have been going with for years, my father first started taking me there in the 90s.
Anyway, they have live prey and even better, they have an awesome selection of frozen. They have frozen in every size. I feed my juvenile adult mice.
