    Simple question on ovulation.
What exactly happens when a snake ovulates?
I know in humans it's when we release an egg from the ovary and it goes through the fallopian tubes. But I thought snakes start developing follicles before ovulation, which I thought were "pre-eggs"? Can someone please explain. Or give me a diagram of female snake reproductive system... :D

    Re: Simple question on ovulation.
Its when the folicles leave the ovary becoming ova and passes through the infundibulum where the sperm are stored waiting to fertize them then continues to move down the oviduct to be the place it will be shelled. This makes her officially gravid.

Making her look like this for 8 to 24 hours

    Sorry no diagrams.
