So... I have a 3x2 RB viv with an 80 watt RHP
Its summer and I see that my temps are 88 and 75..even though it is summer and ambients are reasonable. I put the 2 thermometers I have right next to each other and the results surprised me..one thermometer said 77 and the other said 90....ooo man..and I just changed the battery in both of these a little over a month ago.
i'm using digital thermometers from the pet store...it was a pop brand..I can't think of the name right now..and they take watch batteries.
I'm lookin for new accurate thermometers...I have an acurite in my crested cage..but it doens't have a probe cable. I went to target, walmart and I can't seem to find any thermometer with probe cables so I can place under each hide...Can anyone point me in the right direction??
