    temgun and snakes
I got a a tempgu nwith my recent order of flexwatt ( I orderit too so none screwed up lol). I like using it to check the snakes temps and I comparing the snake's body temp to the tem paround( in the tub ) and I am shocked that the snakes are about 2-8 degrees warmedr than their cage. most the cages on the cool side are sitting about 83 and my one bp was sitting at 88 degrees on the cool side ( was there for an hour and still had that temp). I measured the tub side back inthe rack and it still runs cooler than the snake the only real increas in temp is right over the flxwatt and it been off most the day due to the warm being really warm. I heard it kick on like once the entire hour or so I spent in the room and I think that cause I removed the tub that the probe is under. I am enjoying the tempgun since i am not guessing if the tubs are over heating like I was worried about. I just got ot watch the amount of sun shinningin of an evening as it will shine on the one rack of tubs and make them warmer for an hour or so..
