    Which????
Going to Sac expo in Sept. What should I get? I like fat boids; balls, bloods, RTBs, etc. I am VERY tight on cash.

If anyone has any ideas about pricing for the following at an expo, it would be much appreciated.

    Here's what I'm considering.

~True RTB (Suri, Peruvian, etc) (either gender, hatchling / juvie)

~Red blood (female, hatchling / juvie)

~Pastel BP (to pair with my spider) (female, breeder)

~Dumeril's boa (either gender, juvie / adult)

    ~Other boa

    ~Other python

    I am open to suggestions.

Since you're VERY tight on cash, don't buy anything! I've seen waaay too many "selling my collection 'cuz I'm broke" ads. Take care of what you've got - maybe getting another little life to be responsible for is not a good option right now.

I know what you mean; I am careful about how much I spend. I always have enough for possible medical needs, feeding, etc. What I meant is that I am tight on what I can spend; I set a good deal aside for feedings, vet needs, etc. :)

I agree, hold on to that cash. When you have more cash, buy a super pastel to breed to your spider.

Dumeril's boas are great snakes! Even though they can be picky eaters most of the time they make wonderful pets for an intermediate snake owner. I think they are the prettiest snakes alive because of their amazing colors and patterns. At first they can be a little nervous when coming into a new environment, but once they get settled in they are very calm and wonderful snakes to have. I think you should purchase a juvenile because they are inexpensive and it's really cool to watch them grow. Right now I own a Dumeril's boa that is about a year and a half now and she's great. I purchased her last year on November 22nd at the reptile expo in Phoenix. I got her for $90, but it was worth it.

Thanks! I am really leaning towards a Dum. They are so incredibly beautiful! And I have a spare 4x2x2 AP cage, which would work out for a small adult. :)
