when do you prove the sex of the balls?
i see breeders proving the sex after a ball when out of the eggs.

can you sex them when they are still babies? or maybe a few days after they come out of the eggs? when is the correct time to ceck their sex?

and which method do you sex your babies? probe or poping method?

You can do it anytime, as long as you know what you're doing. I had NERD pop my 1400g female recently because I never got her sexed. Be careful if you do it yourself as it can hurt the snake.

oh.. most of you pop them eh.

because i got a friend who taught his ball a female. then when i probe it, it turns to be a male.

is it safe to probe them when young? or after their 1st shed.

If you know what to look for and how to pop properly then there's no need to probe a baby. However I do have them probe if I get in adult animals. The other they are bigger males can fool you, because they have such great control of the muscles in that area.

You can sex them anytime you want.

I sex them right out of the egg, and then after their first shed once ready to go in their individual enclosure.

I pop them very rarely do I probe a snake and if I do it is on adults.

I pop them when I remove them from the incubator to clean them up and weigh them--then again at least once after their third meal, because it's REALLY easy to make a mistake when they're so tiny. lol
Then I do it AGAIN before I ship any of them for sale, just to be triple-sure.
