Som pics of Khan

Well i finally managed to get some pictures taken of Khan. he was hatched may 1 of this year and so far he's been awesome. great temperament and feeding response. couldn't be happier with my first snake. sorry about some of the pics, my kodak digital camera has a mostly worthless macro setting either doesn't focus correctly, or gets blurry if my hands shake just a tiny bit.

Ahhh - too cute! I love that little cave hide in the corner! I am curious as to the bedding you're using - is that Carefresh? How do you like it?

yeah its carefresh. i hate it! its really hard to spot clean, its dusty and gets everywhere. yeah it smells good, but its not worth the hassle. as soon as i'm done with the bag i have, i'm switching over to newspaper pellets or aspen.

Go with the aspen so Khan can burrow all over his cage.

That's what i was thinking. He loves the carefresh because he can burrow like crazy. I can see all his different tunnels he's made, almost like an ant farm. then weekly cleaning comes and he has to start over. Plus i like the smell of the Aspen.
