Shed problem?

So, I've read all the info on shedding I can find, and made sure my snake had the correct levels of humidity and what not, but she seems to be having a problem. I'm not sure if it's normal or not...

But, she's been in the final shed stage for about four days. She's shed her head fine, but the rest of her body is still unshed, and it's been that way for the past two days. There's only the head shed in her tank. I've tried soaking her, but it didn't seem to do anything...

Any suggestions? Ideas? Or is this completely normal?

Some snakes have this problem. Have you tried putting him in a Tupperware container with damp paper towels for 30-60 minutes?
What is your humidity at right now btw?

~60-65% it fluctuates. I don't have a small Tupperware container, but last night, I turned the bathroom into a sauna (with a hot bath for myself), and then filled the tub with water for her and put her in with a couple washcloths for her to climb over and sit on.

It wasn't too hot in there, and the water was the right temp for her. I was just making the bathroom humid for her.

She soaked there for about 45 minutes (i was there the whole time). But it didn't seem to help at all.

Try using a damp warm towel. Hold it so that she has to crawl through your hands and use the towel as an abrasive surface. You can sort of help her rub the unshed skin long. If it doesn't come off in the next day or two I would at least call your vet and ask for advice. Good luck.

I did that, too. x.x; I'm gonna give her another soak tonight, and see if I can't help her to get it off then.
