    Kennel Floor options??
Hey I was wondering what everyone on here uses for kennel flooring? We are trying to find a suitable flooring for our kennels and we want to do concrete but thats just sort of a permanent option and we rent so if we ever left I would probably have to get out there and break it all up and haul it away. BUt im trying to find something that will be easy to get in and clean up the poo and wont smell bad. We thought about wood floors also but were told that it would hold in the urine smell and be horrible to smell before the first year.

    There's always something like this....

Try googling "kennel flooring" or "kennel deck" and you'll be surprised at the options out there that might serve your purpose yet are not permanently affixed.

I have a kennel (which is rarely used ) and will pour concrete. This way my dog cannot dig and escape and if it has rained there no mud or water puddle.

Once sealed it is very easy to clean, water hose as needed and you're done.

yea we are sick of the mudd puddles in the kennels. We have siberian huskys and they love to dig and try to escape so we have had to really rig our kennels to make them withstand a huskies scorn lol. I really like the look of concrete kennels I just want to make sure we will be here a while before I decide something thats more permanent like that

I would think the cement would be the cheapest and way to go, plus if you are puting portable kennels on a slab of cement your landlord may like the idea of using it as a patio/entertaining area if/when you all move.
