    New hatchling care.
Well I am expecting my little ones any day now. I was curious as to the proper procedure with the hatchlings once they have come out of the eggs. What should I do. Should I wash all the goo off and just place them in their tubs? Or is there anything special the little ones may need.

Everyone does it a little differently. Once the eggs are pipping (or are cut), I put the eggs on damp paper towel in the incubator, so that I don't have to wash off babies.

Then I set them up in one tub all together until they have their first sheds (and I usually keep that tub in the incubator with a small dish of water). Once they've had their first shed, I'll separate them into individual tubs in the baby rack.

A week after shed, I offer their first meal.
