Im interested in getting a baby red tail. Is a Columbian and Guyana the same type? If not whats the difference. I've also been fascinated by red tails coloring.

Guyana's are BCC (Boa constrictor constrictor) and they need a more strict husbandry care. They also tend to be a bit more aggressive. For a person new to boas, I would say get a BCI of some sort. Either colombian or central american, but colombians usually have a better attitude and are easier to tame down.

They are different in a way as of geographically. This difference makes there temperments different as well as physical appearance. I would get a columbian considering they are the most common red tail and easier to take care of.
