    Before i actually started breeding for real i would have them breed any time of the year, only once a year though.

    Most people breed through the winter since shorter natural light cycles and cooler temps help to stimulate breeding activity.

    BUT, some breed all year round.

    It's your choice:D

    In the wild BPs breed in the winter. Since they live in completely controlled environments in captivity, you can simulate winter temps and light whatever time of year you feel like.

    They live near the equator so there is no real difference in light between seasons for them its almost a 50/50 split all year round.
