well we finally got ourselves a turtle to add to our collection- a Mississippi map named Stihl (pronounced "steel" )

after having him in a 45 gallon tub for a bit we have put him in our empty 130g tank since we had no idea what we wanted to put in the tank anyways...

we are also thinking of putting in at least one more turtle since the tank is big enough, and were thinking of getting a diamondback terrapin, but if anyone else has any other suggestions im up to looking up any other turtles. :D

I love him, I always wanted a turtle but cleaning the water and tank would not be my favorite thing.

turtle suggestions? You'll need something pretty large down the road but common snapping turtles are my absolute favorite turtle species.
(probably not a good choice for a playmate for your turtle either, just what popped in my head)

Just so everyone knows, I plan on building an out of tank basking area, using either 1/2 or 1" acrylic totaling half the length of the tank the tank measurements are 77" long x 19" wide x 20.5" tall
