    Unsticking a Zoomed UTH
On the directions it says you're not supposed to peel off a Zoomed UTH once its attached but I know I read a thread somewhere explaining how to do it if you must. Can anyone dish on this?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

Do you know what happens if the UTH gets damaged during removal? Will it just not work or will it be dangerous to use with my animal?

    Thanks,

i bent mine during removal and it worked fine for about 3 weeks then just got really hot one day and when i checked onit, it was burnt through the plastic outer covering. i would say if you are gonna remove it once its stuck on just be aware that you need to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the heads up. And it heated up regardless of it being under the control of a thermostat or a light dimmer? And did you use the removal method posted above? And sorry last question, how much does it need to bend to break? Like are we talking just a tiny bit or a decent amount?

    Thanks,

They are allowed a little bit of flex (they have delicate wires in the plastic), just do the best you can when removing it. If it becomes harder to scrape off, use more Goo Gone (or whatever you have). Mine stayed pretty much flat when I removed it.

I did not use the method posted on here i didnt know they couldnt be bent because i got mine from a friend rather than buying it new (never do that again). i bent mine significantly back so as long as u keep it mostly flat i should be fine. and yes it will work just like normal even if bent the omly real way to tell is keep checking it out from time to time and dont be suprised if it overheats on u cause they are not the most durable thing on the planet.

I'm sure Walmart has it. Goo Gone also works well too - it's what I used. I think you should be able to find either.
