100% Het. how do you know as a buyer?
I am looking at buying a 100% Het Piedbald PB. How do I know if they are honest? Can anyone recommend BEN SIEGEL REPTILES INC.
    thanks, "J"

Ask for paperwork and check out what othes have to say about the breeder/seller. Best resource for checking out if a breeder had positive transactions is www.faunaclassifieds.com 's Board of Inquiry. Just run a search for the breeder you are considering purchasing from. I ran the search for you, just click http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/search.php?searchid=544818 and read up on him.

Basically when you are buying any non-visible genetics you are purchasing based on the seller's reputation. Check out potential sellers through the BOI (link was provided earlier in this thread for you) and also use our Business Inquiries section to ask for BPNet members knowledge of and experience with a potential seller. This is a good idea no matter what snake you are buying, het or not. It comes down to you doing your research and being an informed, smart buyer.

You should expect to receive genetics paperwork with any morph, most especially with a het. That paperwork should include a photograph and information both on the snake purchased and the pair of snakes used to produce the snake purchased. That information should include hatch date, genetics, gender, etc. It should be signed by the breeder and include full contact information for them. You should confirm before you purchase that the paperwork is included since asking for it after the snake arrives without it isn't a great thing to have to do.
