    Coluber viridiflavus
    Hi,

my girlfriend saved a Coluber viridiflavus from a cat attack, and we're keeping it till it has healed, it has some scratches and missing scales but apart from those it seems quite healthy.

Anyone has kept them before or has some tips or knows any internet resources (care sheets etc.)?

I can't seem to find any....have they ever been kept as pets??

    I am from Malta.

    cheers

Hi. It appears to be similar to a kingsnake. here is a basic info sheet on the snake http://www.kingsnake.com/reptilia-it...ile/biacco.htm

I would put him on aspen or cypress mulch or something like that. You can see if he'll eat a mouse, but from what I've read it could be a lizard feeder like some kings. Good luck, hope he recovers fast
