Anybody play the didge?

I wanted to know if there were any other didgeridoo players out there?
I have been playing for about 2 years now and loving it more and more. definately not an everyday instrument,
Just hoping im not the only other weirdo out there who plays one.haha:D

Ondrej Smeykal is one of my favorite players of contemporary style.

I also really love the tradtitional WAL and NEAL styles although I can't play them well :)

I am definately into traditional.
I just cant get into all the new age beat boxing and all that kind of stuff

I play but have never been taught.. Just have listened and attempted to duplicate. Mostly I'm just a brass-player who picked up a didj because it was neat.

I haven't played in a while now since my didj is up in Alaska w/my parents, and apartments aren't exactly didj-playing friendly so I'm going to wait until I have my own place before taking it up in any seriousness. I was getting decent at circular breathing and getting a consistent drone as of winter '07.

I play as well.

getting circular breathing is a pain, but as soon as you get it, playing is so much more fun.

No way, there is a small didge army on this site.

Also my mom took up playing(at least for a while) because she heard it helped with snoring. I'm not sure if she's stayed up with it or if it actually helps snoring, but that's the story.

yea i read a report on yahoo about it stopping snoring.
By the way, your mom is the coolest for learning the didge. hahaha.
