    Male attitude in Breeding Mode
    i am a newbie in bredding BP's...
    i have a male ... that when we try to pick him up... he hissess a lot..
    and only playing with his food... by playing meaning that he bite the rat/mouse and lets go... this is day 10 with out food..

    what should i do?.. or is it oke to put him together with the female?..

    How long have you had this male?

    He's not playing with his food - that behavior can be an indicator of stress, in fact, coupled with the hissing, I'd say he's stressed by something.

    A stressed animal is also going to be a poor breeder for you.

    Try to figure out what's got him "tweaked" and try to fix it. It could be enclosure location, enclosure size, temps being off, handling too often, hides not providing enough security, etc.
