Cocoa Fiber in Mouth Causes Wheezing?
:snake: Hey everyone. I just fed my BP and he managed to get a bit of cocoa fiber in his mouth. Nothing too much to worry about (its happened before) but I now hear him wheezing/loud breathing after the fact. I'm just wondering if anyones seen or heard of this before. thoughs and opinions welcome. Also does anyone have an easy way to remove it from inside his mouth incase this is serious?

It could be an RI, is there mucus coming out of the nose and/or mouth? Do you see any open mouth breathing? I think if it gets any worse you should take it to the vet. What are your temps and humidity levels?

Temps are 83 and humidity is abotu 60. He only started to do it after the dirt in his mouth. there are no other signs of RI. and yes I will be watching him closly just incase.

EDIT: Just checked on him and didnt hear the noise : )

what is 83*? Hot side cool side?

83* is good for ambient temps but you need to provide a hot spot of 92*.

If you keep hearing the noise or notice any mucous around the mouth and nose, take the snake to the vet.

Breathing heavily (wheezing) does not automatically mean he has an RI.
