    Mona the monster...
She's actually a sweetheart, but I've never owned such a large snake before - so Mona seems like a beast!! She ate her first meal (since arriving) on Saturday, so I decided to take her out tonight... ain't she purty?? :)

Weighing in at 1779g - that's a big Chanukah cookie, LOL

I used a tape measure after she moved from that position, and she's almost 48 inches (4ft) long...

Beautiful snake, I love the name!

My first Ball Pythons name is Mona as well. She is an 05 CH.
Here is a pic of her with her first clutch of eggs she laid last year.

Not sure exactly, but she laid a clutch this past season - so I'm guessing she's an '06 or older? I got her off a breeder (J&J Reptiles) from this site, so we can always ask him! ;)

Wow, how many eggs were there? She's really pretty, and has a very interesting color... is she a normal or morph?

The name Mona/Ramona just popped into my head when I saw her, and seems to fit perfectly - it's a good snakey name, LOL. :) It's also what I wanted to name my cat, but was talked out of it by my roommates (ended up calling her Bindi). Anyway, thanks for the comments and picture!

I love the monsters! The bigger they are the more I love them. BPs are awesome as is, but when they're full grown and just a solid heavy snake, maaaaan. I love it. Sure hatchlings are cute, and sub-adults and 3-4 year olds are cool, but it's the thick bodied ones that put a little strain on your arm when you hold them that I <3. By that time they're so much friendlier too, no? Or is that just my personal experience? Either way, I love your girl!

I'm a city girl, so I had to look up that term... and yes, she would qualify as a "lunker" LOL. :D
