OK, I have a picture here of Romeo (3-4 year old) and my wife Debbie.

This BP has been content on my wifes chest for almost an hour, while she plays computer games. The trust level is aw sum. All all BP's this way?

Usually when you handle BPs a lot they become very tame, and when they are older they are very chill. This is normal, my female whose a year and a half now is like that. I'll be watching tv and she will be laying on my stomach taking a nap. She's such a little sweetheart. And by the way, beautiful BP (:

It just depends on the snake. Some are really laid back, and others are more busy. My ghost boy is extremely laid back and even took an antibiotic shot once with nary a twitch. He's happy to lie in my hands as long as I'm willing to hold him.

I think it can be a common behavior if they are handled frequently. Keep in mind your wife is giving off body heat similar to his warm side of his enclosure. I myself usually limit the amount of time they are out just due to the fact that they will lose temp levels, you can tell after awhile they get cool feeling and that is when I usually place them back.

I don't know about ALL Ball Pythons, but they definitely seem to be the "lap cats" of the snake world! :D Mine each have their own personality, and I'd say Toby is the most cuddly... he's content chilling on my lap or neck for about 20-30 minutes, and will probably mellow even more as he ages (still a baby).

    Cute picture, btw... :)
