My new gorgeous Rainbow Boa!!

I went to the Tampa show today and came home with this beauty! He is a boy, named Harvey.

He is tame, docile, gorgeous, and I'm totally in love!

Total temptations! We came home with five snakes!!! (pair of Mojaves, female Black Pastel, the BRB, and a JCP!) lol

I'm always so tempted by BRB at shows....they are usually small, cute, friendly babies...I think I'm going to cave one of these days ;)

I got his humidity right, and he is happy! I want to hold him all the time- can't wait until he's good and settled :) He is very gentle.

Yeah, the humidity is the one thing that needs a bit more attention than I'm used to for my snakes. It gets so cold in Canada too during the winter- it's hard to keep anything up!

I also love your new carpet. I really really want one of those guys too......:cool:

Nice! Time for a humid hide!

I gave him a warm hide, a cool hide, a big water bowl... and repti bark. Spritzed it with water, and it's nice and humid. He has a screen top so I covered most of that with wet cloths. Actually cloth diaper prefolds work great! lol

My god he's a gorgeous snake! I've always loved those Brazilian Rainbow boas.. such beauties, am I right? (:
