need help with uth

i went and picked up a 28 qt tub today along with a zoomed uth and rheostat. my question is, where do i put the uth? do i stick it to the bottom of the tub? do i just sit it underneath it with the tub slightly raised? help lol.

yea on the outside underneath the tub on get a digital temp so u can see how hot it gets

yea what? do i stick it to the bottom or just let it rest below it not touching?

stick it on the bottom it wont burn throught it

get a digital temp and tape it on the inside where the uth is under so u can see what the temps are sometimes it gets up to 115 thats way to hot get this at home depot http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...10000003+90401

and find out by moving it up lil by lil to find the right temp but u gotta check on it now and then its cheaper then buyin a thermostat but doesnt last forever
