    Something wrong?
I have an 11 week old ball python, and he's been eating for four weeks. Every other time he's been fine, but today after eating he was opening his mouth repeatedly and rubbing the sides of his mouth on random things in his cage. I'm not sure if it's normal, but it worries me. If anyone knows what this could be, advice would be greatly appreciated [:

Are you feeding him in the enclosure? If so what is your substrate? sounds like he might have something stuck in his mouth...

My snake always yawns after he eats. But never rubs his mouth on things. Just keep watching him. He may have ate something He didn't want :P

Can you be a little bit more descriptive, and if possible, post some pictures of your setup?

    Type of ball python?
    Substrate?
    Temperatures?
When did you acquire him and has he shed for you?
