    Dumeril's Boa Enclosure
I have read everything I could find as to Dumerils' care. As with any reptile, there is much controversy as to appropriate cage sizes. I'd just like some more opinions. What is the minimum sized enclosure to house a 3' Dumerils? What about a 4'? 5'? 6'?

    Any info much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Hm, well, it's a matter of opinion really.
My female seems about 4ft max.. and she's very comfortable in a 41q with lots of burrowing aspen available (she's always burrowing).

When she's larger, she will get a 4ftx2ft RBI or RP cage.
IF she outgrows that, then we'll have to see.

I say 3ft would be fine in a 32q IMO.

my 5ft female does great in a roughly 4ft by 20 inch by 7 inch sweater box.

Do you guys think a 4x2' would be too large for a 3' Dum?

4x2 would be big now but the snake would grow into it.
If you go with the 4x2, make sure you use a large UTH. Say 18"x18" UTH or larger.
