    New BP owner here
    Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting on this forum, I have been reading on here like crazy and really like how knowledgeable eveyone seems to be. I love to learn as much as possible about how to properly take care of my pets. I have a new normal BP that is just a little more than a month old now and boyfriend has an adult normal BP as well. Our adult is super mellow and can be handled with no problems but the new one is a little stinker and will strike if I try to handle him or do anything in his enclosure, he is not too bad once I have a hold of him but if someone walks too close he will try to nail them! Its kinda cute now cause he is so small but I dont want him to be like that as an adult. Is this something that will subside with time?? I have read that they will eventually chill out. He just ate today and is all fat and happy, I will give him time to digest and try handling again and see what happens. Thank you all for any input and glad to be a new member of the BP forum:D.... Give him 2 days to digest, then you can go back to handling him.

Over time your baby bp will mellow down and be more chill, just takes time and patience. Just remember that a bite from a baby bp don't hurt, so I really wouldn't be scared.

My little guy does this as well, and I'm trying to get him used to handlnig. He's a little guy that I purchased on Thursday last week, and boy he's a beauty. He has extraordinary colors, and when I bought him the people said they think he could be a het for an expensive morph so I will have to breed him out which I plan on doing. Anywho, I know you will fall in love with your new little guy once he mellows out. I fell in love with my first BP, and still in love with her today! She just shedded for me tonight, such an amazing animal! Good luck with your new BP, hope ya enjoy em! :D

That statement isn't even anywheres near true, not even 0.00000001%. I switch from feeding my snakes every friday, to thursday, to saturday, it just all depends.
