    Couple Shed/Feed Questions and Thanks!
First of all I would like to thank everyone for the on-going tips:D I finally actually used the Acurite that I bought (about a month ago....eek) and realized that my temps were way off. So I boosted them up to where they are supposed to be and "Tanveer" seems much more content and he has now finally started thermo-regulating like he is supposed to! Plus he shed in one piece for me! Before he would just stay in his warm hide.

He still hasn't eaten since 5/18. However I'm not stressing about it. It doesn't look like he has lost any weight or anything. He seems to still be his normal active self at night. Plus he shed again!

Question 1: I guess since I was told he's an adult I didn't think he would shed so often. He is about 3.5 ft long. I have only had him since 4/27 and he then weighed 1224.69 grams. I haven't weighed him since. He shed for me the first time on 5/7 and it was in pieces but all came off okay. Then he shed again on 6/21 and this time it was all in one piece:gj: I didn't realize that they shed so often! Do they shed on a normal cycle, so about every 1 1/2 months for him? Or is it rather inconsistent when they shed?

Question 2: He didn't eat for me before he shed the first time. So I am guessing maybe his fast this time is due to the temp correction (finally) and then the shed period again?

Your snake shedding isn't going to be every 1 1/2 months. It varies on a lot of things, mainly on how he eats.

Sometimes they have stress induced sheds (moving to a new home). Don't worry about it :P

If your snake doesn't eat during shed, it could be that. I wouldn't worry about it at that weight.
