where can i get the small mice?
ive been to my local pet shops (petco and petsmart lol) and just by looking around i only saw the regular sized mice. im going to be getting a baby ball soon and im curious as to where can i find these lil boogers?
Re: where can i get the small mice?
Depends on what size mouse you have. They should sell all sizes. They have: pinkys, fuzzys, hoppers, weanings, mice, x-large mice. They should have other petstores near you and incase they don't, you can always order online.

Specialty reptile stores , local breeders, check Craigslist and kijiji.com in your area.

They have places like rodentpro, micedirect and other sites where you can order frozen in a pretty good quantity.

ok thanks guys! didnt think about going online lol

You still probably need to find a live source in case the baby doesn't take to f/t immediately. Petland seems to have feeder mice of all sizes in the back.
Re: where can i get the small mice?
I saw that you live in Texas, I live in San Antonio.
The Petcos and Petsmarts in my area sell fuzzy/hopper sized miced, but only the frozen kind. They don't sell live hoppers.
I get live hoppers from a small non-chain pet store a few blocks away from my house. You have to ask for feeder mice, they seldom have them on display.

well i may be wrong but even baby balls dont need pinkies, i started mine on fuzzies for one or maybe two weeks, then went to hoppers, and i get mine frozen from petsmart. its T-rex arctic mice, they had mine next to the fish and crickets but all the petsmarts are probably different.
