CL ad Blk Pastel Good Deal?

Hi,

Ask for another picture of it sitting on todays newspaper or a bit of card with a phrase of your choice written on it - ask about delivery or collection options.

Basically ask why on earth they are selling it so cheap.

Listen to the Dr (dr del)! Is the picture in your post supposed to be the EXACT bp that's for sale (err-rehoming :rolleye2:)? I'm pretty sure I've seen that pic somewhere before, quite a while back. My brain cells aren't functioning tonight - can't remember where I've seen it before. If I remember, I'll add an update.

Okay, well using my "computer hacking skillz" (- Napolean Dynamite...), i traced the image back to this photobucket account... http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o...ahrse/?start=0

By his photos it seems that he does have other snakes, and horses.. And is a pretty legit guy... That is, if it is his photobucket account.... I believe it is tho, because the location on the craigslist thng says Delvan WHich is in Wisconsin or WI.. And he has an album on his photobucket account called W! Reptile Expo... Also, i guess horses must be a pretty popular thing in WI, b/c he has pictures of horses on his photobucket, and you seem to like horses too by your "about me"....But you should always make sure to do what dr.del told you to do just to be safe.

I could not post the pic straight from the craigslist ad, and so saved the pic to MY Photobucket account.
I know the seller somewhat. He lives some 40 miles from me, I purchased ASF's from him, and he sometimes has tarantulas for sale.

If you are going to pick it up and don't need it shipped I don't think you have much to worry about. If you like the snake I would go for it. That price isn't really too crazy. I got a female black pastel in Daytona last year for $250.

It's a decent price, if you're gonna pick it up and be able to look at it before you actually hand over money.
I'm always leery of CL ads myself.
