Anyone else watch this? New episode on right now, and holy cow I'm still loving it. It's absolutely my favorite show this year, better than House or Heroes or Weeds..
I'm disappointed that apparently it hasn't been getting ratings. My thinking is it's just too smart for the average american TV audience.. much like Arrested Development, but even less appealing on average because at least Arrested Development was a comedy.
It'd work better as an HBO show, hell half the time I keep almost thinking it is on HBO with good ol' "Al Swearengen" on there.
I have a hard time imagining it could even be the fact that it is biblical retelling that turns people off, heck I'm a "devout" atheist and I just LOVE the show.
I hope they don't cancel it, but unfortunately it looks like it may happen.
