Update on Sangre - First time outside! (DUW)
Surprisingly enough, I didn't get tagged!
I apologize in advance for the low pic quality; he didn't cooperate very well, and I was also on the watch for any of the neighborhood cats... for their safety as well as his! Even if he didn't bite me, a small mammal getting too close would have put him over the edge.
Hopefully you can see his killer colors a bit better in the light...

His colors are incredible, but I also like him in b&w. :)

He was pretty freaked. I'm lucky he didn't bite me. Note the small pupils.

Shows a bit of his girth.

He's doing great!! I've had him for roughly a month now. The tub I originally had him in was just a tad too big; I thought it would be okay. But I guess with the combination of a too-big tub and relocation stress, he wasn't going to eat.
So I moved him into a smaller tub. I'd done all my research (and more) before getting him, but nothing I read could have prepared me for his killer feeding response! I'm loving it! :D I've nicknamed him my Rodent Disposal; he got a few live mice that Cu wasn't eating, and last week he took a f/t mouse!!! I've been in the hobby for almost two years, and that is the first f/t rodent that hasn't ended up in the trash! I am soooo excited. Totally loving this guy. He's quite a sweetie, too; even for a Borneo, much better than I expected. Some hissing, he took a very large dump on me today, puffing, and thrashing, but no tags or strikes.
The only problem is that short tails are proving more addicting than BPs. :O I'm considering putting my plans for a spider and a pastel aside and getting a red or black blood instead.
Thanks for looking!

Nice snake. I took a few of mine out the other day but the session was cut short when I noticed a hawk eyeing my babies in a nearby tree. Im glad I saw it because he/she could have easily taken a snake from me.
