feeding

i have a ball python that eats the odd time is is only young .will it be better at eating when its older

Maybe. These guys are notorious for switching feeding schedules/preferences.

Then she fasted for four months in the winter, and since she came out of the fast, she refuses live rats, but is crazy about live mice. :confused: So, she has a great feeding response only if it is a mouse...

So, there's a good chance that your snake will change its feeding habits back and forth in its life, but it's impossible to tell for sure.
