granite or not?

i was in Pet Co today and they had new ball pythons im pretty sure its wild caught.I was looking at a baby and I noticed hes sides were incredibly speckled.It didnt look normal when i first saw it but when I looked closer it reminded me of a granite.I want to go back and re-check him out. Is there anything to look for in him to tell if he is granite or just an odd wild caught.

We need pictures to determine that or not.. though it is doubtfully anything but a nice normal.

Granites are highly variable in pattern. The best bet would be go and snap a picture if you can and post it. Your description of speckled sides is pretty vague...I have normals with speckled sides...try a camera phone even if you have one...good luck!
