Yeah, he watched with intensity and sometimes whimpers. I haven't really figured out if he is more interested in the snake or the mouse. He seems to show equal interest in the snake and the live feeder mice I have but I'm not sure if he is upset by the fact the snake is eating the mouse or if he is just excited and curious about the whole thing.
He hasn't missed a feeding yet though.

Its actually a underwater background. I used the tank for my fish until I upgraded to a 30g one. Just never bothered to remove it. LOL.

That mouse looks a tad big for such a small snake. That is a huge lump in the belly.
Just my opinion though. If you are feeding such large meals you might want to think about feeding in the home enclosure so you don't have to pick him up after. Could cause a regurg.

Actually after a minute or so the snakes bump is pretty much gone, this was as he just finished swallowing. As soon as he finished compressing it inside him you could hardly tell he ate a mouse. I think the size of the mouse is just right.
