Anyone had eggs roll while in egg box?
I marked the top of the eggs when placed in egg tube. With two of the eggs it seems like everytime I check on them they have rolled to their side some, and what is weird is the eggs are packed in the perilite halfway up the egg. Has anyone had this happen and should i roll them back up where the mark is on top. I have some experience with ball python eggs, do the same rules apply with the gecko eggs, as far as the egg staying in upright position at all times once the animal is attached to the egg?
Re: Anyone had eggs roll while in egg box?
The eggs should stay relatively upright but sometimes an egg will turn slightly as it grows and the gecko forms inside of it. This should not be an extreme amount--just a little to one side or the other. I usually leave my eggs be once I have placed them in the incubator, so if they do roll slightly they stay that way until they hatch, but that doesn't really usually happen very often. I would suggest burying your eggs a bit deeper in the substrate if they are rolling around too much.

Thanks , it is a very slight roll. The mark is still visible but toward the sustrate instead of straight up where it was when i first put the egg in the incubator.
