    economy incubators??

Dude just build one out of a big A cooler. That's what I'm planning on. OORRRR find a free mini fridge online at craigslist or your local classifieds. Making something is much more rewarding than buying it.

Get ahold of Jake on here.

He sells some prebuilt incubators. Or he will sell you the KIT to make your own incubator.

I bought the kit and love it.

    I have not yet, no.

I plan on using it this coming season and have ZERO fears of it not operating to my expectations.

I use a refrigerator. I control my temperature in the Incubator, the Humidity I control in the EggBox itself. My first Incubator I made worked for Geckos, it used an aquarium heater, an ice chest half full of water, and a rack to keep the tubs out of the water.

The next one I made was a ice chest with a cheap thermostat and flexwatt.

Now I use Full size refrigerator I got for free, 17"? Flexwatt and a Helix. Looking back I wish I would have made the refrigerator years ago. BTW the fridge was cheap, and took less then a Hour to setup, Works GREAT.

    Whatever you chose, good luck.

I agree with converting a fridge or freezer. I have a converted upright freezer that works great, in the process of building a 2nd one actually. Other than the t-stat it is dirt cheap to make. All you need is 2-3' of 11" flexwatt, some foil tape, and a secondary temp gauge w/ probe if you want it. Less than $25 to do it other than the t-stat.
