is a 774g male pastel worth? If you had one for sale how much would you ask for him? Eats very well.Locked with female pastel several times. She is gravid...but she locked with a spider also so we don't know who the sire is yet.
    Thanks!Mike.

See I don't understand how this works.Well known Breeders are selling pastel 08s in 08 for more than that.If you have a BP with weight enough to breed how can a 100g pastel male cost more than a 700g male.I see breeders selling 1100g and bigger normals for 200.00
    Thanks.Mike

    Those are breeder females. :gj:
Females almost always go for more than males, unless you get into higher end designer morphs.

And a male only really needs about 500g to be capable of breeding and possibly smaller.

I got my 08 Pastel male for $140.

You must also realize that Pastels are priced according to grade as well.

Depending on the Grade A is worth whatever you are willing to pay. I would say a Dollar a gram or more if it is Rare with Vibrant colors and healthy.

If its a low grade pastel, I got a 600 gram (My First morph) for 150$ that breeds like no other.

People will pay a 1000$ for a good pastel or more, some people will not buy anything less than the BEST, thats what makes their collection more valuable, selective breeding truely makes Prettier babies.

I was offered $1500 for my male lemon pastel in Daytona last year - refused, btw, and he's still here! He's priceless to me for the quality of pastels that he produces (and his quality as well).

I agree with graded - my pastels won't be priced the same as Grade B or C pastels. If they have to stay here longer, I have no problem with that.

I don't know what grade mine are, but they're both gorgeous and they stand out dramatically. I've had others that were not nearly as pretty as my current two.

My male was $150 at a petstore of all places, and he's extremely striking.
