    For SIGB owners
So the frogs at the pond I go to stopped calling lately and are beginning to dissapear. Breeding season might be over for them. So, I decided to try something new to feed my Solomon Ground Boa. I caught a minnow with a little fishnet I have. Took about 5 sec's to catch vs. spending 15-20 mins hunting down tiny fast moving frogs. Brought the minnow home, and my girl took it right off the bat.

I'm really excited about this because now I have an easy alternative food source. I think I'm still going to order some frogs from florida (thanks to Lucas) though because I think they might be better nutritionally.

If anyone knows which are better nutritionally, frogs or minnows, please feel free to chime in.

    Hi,

Does that mean theres a chance you could get him onto the fish based diet described by aSnakeLovinBabe here?

It would certainly be something I would try on the grounds of cost, availability year round etc.
