Faststone Photo Resizer

I can't figure out what size to make my pics.I have been trying for over an hour and am getting no where. What size do you make yours?

Usually 1024 X 768 or 800 X 600

Hi,

I generally make mine 640 x 480 including the border.

But 800 x 600 would be a fair compromise - the site resizes any pics larger than that automatically and it would enable you to get quite a lot in your gallery. :)

If you do add a border remember to take that into consideration when resizing the pic - I just resize by width and remove twice the thickness of the border from the size I eventually want (so 630 pixels for most of mine as I use a border 5 pixels wide for a total of 640.)

If you find your losing too much detail in the pics just resizing it might be worth finding something that can crop the image to let you save as much of the detail as you can.
