Can you use pastels instead of normals?
I was wanting to know if instead of breeding to a normal if pastel would work instead. Thanks

I dont get the question. If one snake has boy parts and the other has girl parts, and theyre of age...then they can be bred together. If youre asking whether a pastelxnormal creates a visual morph, then yes is my answer.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. A male Ball Python of the proper weight and size can breed a female ball python of the proper weight and size, regardless of what morphs they are. Whether one of them is a Normal or a Pastel only changes the outcome of the pairing in regards to what morphs may or may not be produced.

ummm....the question seems alittle unclear...if your asking will a female pastel breed the same as a normal, Yes, but there will be a 50% chance for each hatchling to be a pastel.

More than likely your answer is YES to whatever question you are asking. :)

This is the last thing I need as if my day wasn't confusing enough. lol. No but seriously I think you need to reword your question a little so it makes sense. Then we will be glad to help you. :) And sorry about your frog.

Sorry to be confusing. You know how you would breed a spider to a normal. Well instead of a normal could you use a pastel.

Ah-ha! Now we know what the question was! :P

Absolutely you can! That is how you get combo morphs. In your example, breeding a spider to a pastel can result in spiders, pastels, normals, and bumblebees!

Okay that makes sense. Is it better to get a male combo because he can mate with multiple females. Is this right. I know this is kinda of a personal thing and it depends on what project you are working on, but what would you do?
