    Rainbow Boas
We saw one yesterday in a shop (a good reptile shop, not a typical petstore) and we were totally blown away. GORGEOUS!!!!!!! It was a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I have read the care sheet so I can see that they're a little more challenging than BPs thanks to humidity needs. But wow, what beautiful animals. I also was smitten with a baby red tail... I am thinking of someday having one or the other or who knows maybe way off one of each. But anyway, the Rainbow really impressed my husband as well as myself. I'd love any thoughts or ideas or what a good price is. The one at the shop is $249 I think, but I could be wrong. The redtails were $119 and the stunning yellow baby (I think it was a baby green tree python) was $349 I think. That one blew us BOTH away, and particularly him.

I held the Rainbow and it was very easy to handle, though absolutely tiny... and so stunningly beautiful. Do they generally remain tame and nice?

They can be a little more agressive than balls, corns, etc...but are beautiful! There are alot of threads on here about them that I have seen. Hopefully you can find them.

I will look more. I posed in a hurry because the baby started fussing ;)

We are definitely interested. Ours are pets, not just for display, and any RB we got would definitely be a pet, so I'd love to hear about them as pets.

Forget the "store" and email Will Bird. He is a really great guy and produces some outstanding BRB's. Mine is #953

HOLY CRAP...is Will Bird on this board? I'd the like the story behind this:

NSFW - Pictures without the Croc in them are NOT for the light stomached...http://ectotherms.net/ecto-cms/index...2_itemId=10207

And those BRB's are very nice!

I did a double take, I wasn't paying much attention to it at first. Sorry, I tried to put a clear enough warning :(

Mine definitely has a more attitude than my ball python. I've had him for about 9 months now and he's still a little sketchy. He's tagged me a bunch of times(no bleeding and no pain). He likes to burrow so I can only handle him for about 5-10 minutes before he starts looking for a place to burrow. He's not a year old yet, so I'll continue to handle him once a week or so and hope he grows out of it.
