New kitten now my 2 yr old female is peeing on everything!

So I just got a new male kitten about a month ago he is about 13 weeks old. My female cat who is 2 has just (within the past week) started urinating on everything in my room. All over clothes or just in a certain spot near her food and water bowl. She has never done this before. Has anyone experienced this same thing? Any idea on why she's doing it? Thank You for any help!
