Spider x Pastel or Pastel x Pastel
    Hello,
I just ordered a Spider male and a Pastel Female yesterday. I also might purchase a Pastel male and a Normal female.

My question is What would most of you do?

Breed the male spider with the femal pastel and the male pastel to the normal female?
    OR
Breed the male Pastel with the Female Pastel and the male spider with the female Normal?

    Thanks for the input.

This is what I plan on doing in the future (I'm a few years away, lol):

    Spider to pastel = Bee
    Pastel to cinny = Pewter
Bee to Pewter = Killer cinny bee?

I'd say go for bees, but it all depends on what you like.

Get another co-dominant female like lesser or mojave. You'll get your pastel male and plenty normal females in your first year of breeding.

Yeah i really would rather not buy a normal but I just spen a ton on the spider and the female pastel cause i needed big ones so i can breed this season and dont really wanna spend 500-800 on another codom female. But i might just suck it up and do it.

    Thanks for all the help.

I dont know exactly what you mean here about the super pastel to spider, but let me clarify.
If you want a bumblebee, both ways here are perfect.
But, if killerbees is what you want, then the second option will NOT work. This is because the super pastel can only pass one of its alleles on, and since it had two pastel alleles, it will only pass on a pastel trait, therefore creating a bumblebee.
The first way will work because the bumblebee already has a pastel allele, so adding another pastel allele will create a super pastel without getting rid of the spider gene. This will create a Killerbee because it is a Super Pastel Spider. A Bumblebee is a Pastel Spider.

    Hope this helped someone,
