It was a blast! The drifting track was by far my favorite! I didn't want to get out of the car :rolleyes:

The Hot Laps were cool too. Major lateral G's! I have a whole new respect for those drivers.

To make things better - the whole thing was free, and we were spoiled rotten the whole time we were there!

Free? That's amazing! Makes me wish I lived closer to Chicago.

Lol, I can totally imagine not wanting to get back out. The only speedway I've ever actually been to was in Daytona, and it was fun, but the entire time I was watching I was just imagining how much more fun I would be having if I were in one of the cars! Though it probably gets to about 150 degrees inside those things in summer...

Looks better then my Thursday! I spend the day answering phones at work, dealing with less then brilliant employees, and pouting because my motorcycle still has not gone to the shop. I'll trade ya! Looks like you had fun!

They said the interior of the car alone reaches 150 degrees and that the driver can lose up to 10 lbs. of water weight before the end of a race! It was only 75 degrees on Thursday and I was dying in that suit, but it was so worth it!

I had surgery. :dead: You had WAY more fun than I did. LOL

I graduated from high school on Thursday, but I would much rather be doing that!

That's friggin' awesome!!! You definately had a better thursday than I did at work sorting files and barking at people!
