    Snake bags and Info Cards
Are specially designed snake bags worth it? They aren't that expensive, usually under $2 for a 8x12 one. If you just use pillow cases what thread count is good? I just picked up some 250 thread count ones. Is that low enough to ensure the snake won't suffocate? If I do get a snake bag what size is big enough for adult ball pythons? Adult RTBs?

Also, I just completed my rack and prior to this I just kept all my info (weight, feeding, shedding, all mating related stuff) in composition books. What exactly do you guys use, and in what kind of format? A large 9x5 note card placed to the side or under each tub? I think Ive seen some people keep them in plastic sleeves or something, not sure what that is. I just wanna know what works for people since I think record keeping is oft overlooked. Anyone comfortable with scanning a sample pic of their info cards?

Awesome, just what I was lookig for.

Anyone have infos on snake bags? I just don't want to risk suffocating one of my snakes in a pillow case.

I wasn't sure about using pillow cases for transportation and I thought I'd have to buy a specific bag. Now I know I can use em'

    Cheers!

I'm not sure on the exact thread count but what you can do is wet the pillow case you are trying to use. If you can still easily breath through it when its wet there should be no problems for the snake when it is dry or if it happens to urinate in the bag. This is what I did when I was soaking trying to get a stuck shed off and had similar concerns.

The thread fibers expand when wet and this is when you really need to worry about suffocation.
