    Graded Lessers??
You know how there are different 'grades' of certain morphs (for example.. pastels. Some are amazing and some are very mediocre)... I was just wondering, are there different grades of lessers? Or do most lesser babies look the same and most lesser adults look the same?

    Just curious...

    Thanks!

I think there are grades to everything, and some animals respresent morphs better than others. The biggest variable to this is personal preference. What a breeder considers a high grade and what a customer considers a high grade may be on opposite ends of the pole.

I think the reason pastels are graded are because of the high amount of variability you see in the morph, and how distinguisable a low quality to high quality pastel is. Other morphs are not as easy to pick out, but I think there are low and high quality examples of everything.

I think there are grades, but I also think it depends on peoples preferences and what they want from the morph.
I want a really nice reduced light lesser. Buts some people may want a darker richer colored one.

I don't think either is bad, it's just preference.

Well, I don't know if I'd grade them--but I do know that I've seen some lessers that made me go :O which I would personally consider exceptional examples of the morph, and some which I would consider average. I think it's really a matter of personal preference, though. I may value traits in an animal that other people might not.

I grade lessers a lot, some really stand out and have great coloring, and most seem to just get grayish brown which to me is sooo unattractive... Mine seemed to turn out pretty well, didnt grey out at all.
