    Radient Heat Panel question
So I have been checking these out and found a few that seem to be pretty popular (RBI especially) but came across these at Big Apple Herp (BAH).
    http://www.bigappleherp.com/Big-Appl...2&category=14#

So what I am curious about is, can your reptile burn itself on one of these BAH panels? Why are they half the cost? Has anybody used these? Where would you mount the thermo probe?

Thanks and if it has been asked before, it's common knowledge that I suck at using the search feature.

If I remember right, Big Apples are basically just laminated flexwatt. RBI's heat panels actually use infrared to heat the objects below them.

I have heard that. Is there a difference between RBI's heat panel and Pro Products heat panel? I have an RBI heat panel in my GTP cage, and it works like a charm.

Looks like flexwatt covered in something.

I use 80 watt RBI in all my boa cages, they heat fantastic.

They seem sort of expensive but they have a 10 year warranty

the pro products heat pannel is nothing like flex watt. they use a certain wire to conduct the heat.
