Red tail boa deal of the century!!!

Tomorrow morning I am picking up a 6 ft red tail!!

5 DOLLARS FOR ENCLOSURE AND SNAKE!!

Almost sounds too good to be true, but I talked to the guy and got all the details hopefully all goes well. I'm sooooo excited, I've been waiting for a good deal on one and this is deffinately it!! WOOO HOOO!!:banana::banana::banana:

It's gonna be a garter snake who got it's tail dipped in red paint. J/p
But yeah good luck I got my first 1.0 Norm from a guy on CL for free with everything...and then moved him to a tub and sold everything.

there are good deals to be had on CL...and bad too, just be careful and be sure your getting a healthy snake

of the 2 snakes i got of CL one was a healthy 6 year old 5 foot virgin female :)
and the second was a very thin male with no tongue in a 55 gallon, no substrate... i bought him just because i felt bad for him and hes now gaining weight and doing awesome for a snake without a tongue.
I now have a 55 gallon fish aquarium too :D

yeah 6 people ot move het cage and you to hold the snake on the far side of the street ( so they willing work and not run for the hills )
once you het it home I bleach ( disinfect the entire cage for health reason if got other snakes and follow all possible QT pratices.)

I got my boa, and large tub, with about a dozen frozen feeders for free! Well, I had to drive from Toledo to Arlington to pick her up, but I just took my son along and made a road tripout of it. His b'day was on wed. and I found out about the snake and talked to the guy tue. so when I got home I asked my boy what he had planned for friday night, and he had nuthin'. So I told him we were driving to DC friday night, but never told him why. So when we get there, and the guy shows us the snake, I ask him "I know I'm a little late, but 'Happy Birthday!' " He was already excited about us getting a boa, but when he heard it was for him, his eyes got real big! It was a nice trip with my child, and something I will remember always.

Cool story, and an awesome surprise for the boy!! I used to love doing stuff like that for my kids. (Now, they're in their 20s, and they just want cash for their birthdays, LOL!)
